How to Unclog a Toilet
Do you have a clogged toilet? Dealing with a backed-up toilet is inconvenient, but easy to fix!
A common mistake is using a sink plunger (you know, that flat, red plunger with a wooden handle) rather than a toilet plunger. The Beehive Max® is the best plunger because its unique flanged design creates the best seal for plunging.
Although a plunger is the best method for unclogging a toilet, it is not always the right tool. Cell phones, your child's toys, or other objects can fall in. In these cases, wear gloves and remove the object by hand if possible.
If you smell sewer gas, open a window and call a plumber. Issues with your pipes or sewer could be potentially dangerous, so it is always better to have professional guidance.

How to Plunge a Toilet
- Carefully insert the plunger into the bowl at a 45-degree angle. This allows water to fill the plunger cup, helping to avoid splashing and overflowing, especially in nearly full toilets.
- Tilt the plunger upright to allow the plunger to seal the outlet hole.
- Begin push-pull movements to unclog the trap way. Remember, the power is in the pull movement. Continue pulsing without breaking the seal of the plunger to the toilet bowl hole.
- If the toilet does not unclog, repeat steps 1 through 3.
