Lavelle Achieves Woman Owned Business Enterprise Certification

Lavelle Industries, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has recently been granted certification as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Business Educational Consortium, Inc. (BECI). Located in Wisconsin and founded in 1999, the BECI is an organization that assists businesses owned by women and minorities. In addition, it seeks to educate corporations on the importance of utilizing WBE certified businesses in order to maintain supplier diversity programs. To qualify for the certification, a business must meet all the criteria set forth by the organization, which states that at least 51% of the voting stock in a corporation must be owned or controlled by a woman or group of women.
